Meet Catherine

Catherine Russ, Certified Health & Wellness Coach

My Path To Coaching

After a 20-year career in pharmaceutical science, I stepped into another chapter – one that brings together my life-long interest in health and balance with a dedication to partnering with others as they create change that can truly take root.

My global childhood (living in Brazil, Indonesia, Malaysia, & the USA) shaped my perspective early. It gave me a broad worldview and a deep appreciation for nature – especially movement in nature – as a source of calm and connection.

Coaching feels like a natural extension: grounded in evidence, shaped by experience and centered in thoughtful partnership.

Why I Do This Work

Science trained me to value evidence and structure. And life taught me that well-being is shaped gently by choices we make over time. This work brings these perspectives together.

For more than 25 years, North Carolina has been home with my husband and now teenage son. I continue to enjoy the beauty of the outdoors, hiking along with our two Labradors, Athena and Atlas.
